We began by carefully dismantling and disposing of the existing fence, making sure the site was left tidy and ready for the new structure. Concrete posts were then set securely into the ground, providing a solid framework that will not rot or warp over time. Concrete gravel boards were installed at the base to protect the timber featheredge boards from ground moisture, significantly extending the lifespan of the fence.
The end result is a fence that is built to last for decades with minimal maintenance. The customer now benefits from a much stronger boundary that not only looks great but will stand up to the elements far better than the previous timber-only structure. This project is a perfect example of how upgrading to concrete posts and gravel boards alongside featheredge fencing can transform both the performance and appearance of a property boundary.
